SoilSphere - Connecting UCD soil researchers

Soil is inherent to many of the global challenges we face today, including food security, climate change, biodiversity collapse and sustainable cities. In response to these challenges, SoilSphere is formalising a network for soil researchers across all career stages within UCD to collaborate and develop interdisciplinary research consortia. SoilSphere will consolidate and support the UCD community of soil researchers, building communication channels and hosting gatherings to facilitate knowledge and resource sharing. The project also aims to further develop these collaborations and consortia both nationally and internationally, and to support stakeholder and policy connections.

Soilsphere is a UCD Earth Institute strategic priorities project for 2023-2025.
