SOFTWARE VENDOR PARTNERSHIPS
As a research intensive School we recognise the importance of having access to the best geoscience software products. We are delighted that several vendors have provided their software to us for academic and teaching purposes either for free or through very competitive ‘academic’ licences. Those industry leading geoscience software packages are shown below and we encourage our academic and industry partners to check them out.
In this context, we are delighted to announce that we have been provided with 10 licences of the MOVE suite of programs by Petroleum Experts, worth a total of £4,446,137.28. The programs include a broad range of structural geology software, including their pioneering techniques for 2-D and 3-D kinematic modelling and the IPM Suite. We thank Petroleum Experts for their generosity and we look forward to using their software in our future research.
