Lisa Glass’ nominators wrote of her creativity as a Music and English teacher. As well as running song-writing classes and mock-trials in the class, Lisa was central to her placement school's extracurricular activities, such as the school musical and the debate team. Lisa's nomination referred to teaching students as a joy - one that requires respect, professionalism, and passion.

Lisa has a passion for music and english that is so evident in her teaching. She is a fantastic harp player and shares that love with her students. This passion encourages students to form relationships with their instruments as Lisa does. As an avid reader and aspiring novelist, Lisa brings her talent and passion for writing to her classes.

From the beginning of her teacher education, Lisa was eager to learn how to become the best teacher she could be.
