School of Education Masters Students Visit Ombudsman for Children's Office
As part of the Children's Rights and Participation Module, Dr Emer Nowlan took a group of post-graduate students to the Ombudsman for Children's Office (OCO) on Wednesday 17th October 2018. The visit was informative, with staff outlining the work of the OCO and some current issues in relation to children's rights in Ireland. In a workshop session students discussed how they hoped to uphold and promote children's rights in their professional lives both in Ireland and in the wider global context. This Module is a core module of the MSc in Children and Youth Studies.
