President’s Award Research Fellowship
Invitations from suitably qualified candidates are sought to work on the following research Masters project: ‘Oui à la France’: Tracing the French Influence on the Work of George Moore (1852-1933) and John McGahern (1934-2006). The successful candidate will work at the National Centre for Franco-Irish Studies in IT Tallaght under the supervision of Dr Eamon Maher.
This Scholarship will award the appointee €31,138.00 in total. This includes a tax free stipend of €10k per annum for 20 months, student fees of €5,569 per annum and up to €2k per annum over 20 months for materials, travel and expenses (note that this cannot be used to acquire laptops or PCs).
Candidates must have a minimum Level 8 qualification of 2:2 in English literature or Irish Studies. A working knowledge of French would be desirable.
