Dt Henry Hutchinson Stewart Literary Scholarship awarded to English with Creative Writing Student
The School congratulates second year English with Creative Writing Student, Emma Keune, on being awarded the Dr Henry Hutchinson Stewart Literary Scholarship. The award is based on the results of assessments completed in first year or stage one modules and is one of the oldest awards offered by the NUI. As the student with the highest grade-point average in English stage one, Emma was nominated for the award by Professor John Brannigan and was ultimately awarded the scholarship by the NUI.
Of winning the award, Emma said: "I am incredibly honoured to have received the Dr Henry Hutchinson Stewart Literary Prize in English this year. This reassurance of my work is a strong motivation to further develop myself in my undergraduate degree and I remain very grateful for the outstanding academic support."
