College Vice-Principals for Equality, Diversity & Inclusion
Page Updated: 18th July 2022
The Vice-Principals for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion are responsible for promoting EDI related policies, actions and cultural change across their College. They will support the removal of barriers to equality, help create a sense of inclusion for employees and students, and enhance the ability of the Colleges to support to their full potential their increasingly diverse population of staff and students. The VPs for EDI play a key part in supporting and mainstreaming EDI at College level.
VPs for EDI sit on their College Executive Committee and on the EDI Group and provide feedback on challenges and best practice in EDI. They will liaise with the EDI Unit to roll out relevant initiatives and policies, champion EDI visibility in their Colleges and encourage engagement for EDI events in their Colleges. They will also chair the EDI College Committee in their Colleges.
This mainstreaming will be supported through the establishments of School EDI Representatives in each School. Please contact your VP for EDI for a list of School Representatives for Equality, Diversity & Inclusion.
