Dignity and Respect for UCD LGBTI+ Community
Cultivating Allyship for an Inclusive Campus
This event seeks to raise awareness in our University about the challenges facing members of our UCD LGBTI+ community related to dignity and respect both on campus and beyond.Professor Agnes Higgins, Lead Author of Being LGBTQI+ in Ireland Report,will share report findings on the mental health and wellbeing of LGBTQI+ people and public attitudes towards LGBTQI+ people in Ireland.
UCD LGBTQI+ role models and Dignity and Respect leaders will share their expertise. Attendees are invited to reflect on experiences and challenges related to dignity and respect and how these can be overcome.
We welcome members of our LGBTQIA+ CommunityandALL UCD employees and studentswho have an interest in learning more about cultivating allyship and championing an inclusive UCD for LGBTQI+ students and employees.
This event is followed by lunch and a special performance from UCD Choir.
