The outcomes of the most recent survey show that UCD has met its 2026 Travel Plan targets for the reduction car travel commutes, which now stands at 17.9% (16.9% car driver)

Before leaving for the long weekend, please remember to shut down your computer, switch off lighting and anything else that can be safely turned off or unplugged. Please also close windows, blinds and doors, and encourage colleagues to do the same!

With St. Patricks Day on Sunday this year, we have an opportunity to greatly reduce our non-essential electricity load from Thursday evening and over the long weekend.

Recycling Used Batteries Facilities

To promote and drive the awareness and use of these facilities forward as part of our 2024 Green Week programme, we will be distributing battery recycling boxes to every School Office on campus via internal mail. School Offices will start to receive their boxes from Monday 4th March.
