Activate SSO for Finance System Access

Enabling SSO for eProcurement or eFinancials.

These steps are only required on your first attempt to regain access to the Finance System. Once completed, to access the Finance Systems you will login via the UCD SSO page as with most other UCD applications. Please read the following steps carefully before attempting to regain access to the system. Note you will need the credentials proivided in the email entitled 'Enable SSO for eProcurement/eFinancials'. If you experience any difficulty with regaining access to the Finance Systems please contact (opens in a new window)finance.systems@ucd.ie.

1. SSO: Via UCD Connect, the eFinancials/eProcurement link will direct you to the SSO screen - enter your usual UCD Connect username & password and authentiacate via DUO.
2. Information Consent: Confirm your information consent duration preference and "Accept"
3. Finance System log in page: Enter your UCD Connect username (replace the autogenerated text), email, first & last name. Click "Add to existing account"
4. Setup SSO credentials for the Finance Systems - *Important info regarding credentials at this step 
   • Username: UCD Conncet username
   • Password: Temporary password provided by system generated email entitled ‘Enable SSO for eProcurement/eFinancials’
   • Change Password: You must use your UCD connect password as your new password and reconfirm.
