Andrew Wilson
Programme Director
Andy has over 20 years of international experience delivering a diverse range of Change Programmes through Finance Transformation initiatives with a number of diverse organisations across both the commercial and public sector. He is the Lead Partner - Business Transformation & Process Excellence with This Is Org, assigned to the FinPOST programme as Programme Director.
Elanor McDonald
Change Manager and Communications Lead
Elanor joined UCD in 2012. Prior to this, she held positions in Skillsoft, Bank of Ireland and Citi Dublin. During her time in UCD worked in various roles in education technology and project management for the College of Business. Elanor is the Change and Comms lead for the FinPOST programme.
Emma Acton
Project Leader - Finance Transformation Programme
Emma has been with UCD for 20 years, having started in August 2002. Emma spent three years in Accounts Payable, from there she moved to the Finance Systems team where she spent nine years learning the back-office intricacies of UCD’s financial system. Since June 2015 Emma has been managing the Central Purchasing unit, responsible for a team of five buyers who manage over 40% of the University’s purchasing needs.
Robert Murphy
Head of Financial Planning and Management
Robert has been with UCD since January 2022, prior to which he worked for 10 years with the clinical research organisation ICON plc. During his time in ICON, he held various senior management roles in the area of financial planning & analysis. Robert has also worked in financial reporting and planning roles at Aviva and Toyota and completed his accountancy training contract with Deloitte.
Siobhán Dunne
Project Leader - Finance Transformation Programme
Siobhán has been with UCD since summer 2002 starting as an executive assistant within the General Ledger team before moving to the General Ledger Manager position in August 2005. In March 2007 Siobhán moved to a Systems Accountant role within the Finance Systems team, with a 7-month secondment to the FPMA team during the implementation of the Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service in 2018. Siobhán has been in her current role since October 2019.
Ruth McGuinness
Project Leader - Finance Transformation Programme (on maternity leave)
Ruth graduated from DCU with a BA Accounting and Finance and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in Glanbia plc. Ruth has worked in Chicago, Florida, New York and Melbourne with Glanbia and also in Perth with an educational content company. Ruth joined UCD in 2022.
Sarah O'Flaherty
Director of Financial Planning & Management Accounting
Sarah joined UCD in 2009 and is a practice trained FCCA Qualified Accountant. Sarah has worked in numerous roles within UCD Finance including Financial Reporting, Finance Manager for Academic Affairs, Senior Finance Manager for College of Social Science & Law and VP Research. She also worked for a number of years as deputy director of Administrative services in UCD Registry.
Catherine Sheehan
Finance Transformation Business Analyst
Catherine joined the accounts payable team in UCD 12 years ago. Her background is in purchasing and stock control. Catherine is working on the Expenses and Payments aspects of FinPOST
Nicola Tyrell-Maher
Finance Transformation Business Analyst
Nicola joined the General Ledger section of the UCD Finance Office in 2008, where she continued her training as an CPA Accountant, and was delighted to be appointed as the General Ledger manager in 2017. Accountancy is a second career for Nicola, following eleven fulfilling years with BP Chemicals working as a technical sales representative.
Mark Hargaden
Senior IT Project Manager
Mark has been with UCD since summer 2005. A UCD graduate, he started in IT support before becoming IT Manager for the Geary and Conway Institutes. He now works in the Enterprise Applications Group (EAG) in IT services. EAG supports administration at university, college and school levels by providing integrated systems, processes and information.
Stephen Skipwith
Process Improvement Lead
Stephen joined the FinPOST team in February 2023 and is an experienced consultant and workstream lead specialising in Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, Finance Process and Transformation challenges. Stephen has completed many successful transformation contracts over a range of industries and household names, both UK and international.
Jon Ward
Process Improvement Lead
Jon, a CIMA qualified accountant, joined the FinPOST project in June and has more than 30 years of experience across multiple private and public sector organisations. He has worked across both transformational and short term line management roles. He is bringing this wealth of experience to support both the R2R and Planning processes as a consultant with This is ORG.
Kemi Awogboro
Finance Transformation Business Analyst
Kemi joined UCD in September 2023, prior to which she worked for 7 years with the multinational medical device company Teleflex Medical. During her time in Teleflex, she held various accounting roles and worked on two major finance system transformation projects. Her background is in Foreign Languages and Accounting. She is passionate about accounting process design, system analysis and training. She recently completed a master degree in software Development from Athlone Institute of technology
Isaac Moses
Finance Transformation Business Analyst
Isaac joined UCD in September 2023, prior to which He worked 4+ years with Dublin Business School. His professional journey spans 10+ years across various industries, including education, contracting, trading, hospitality, and consulting. He was involved in various critical software system transitions over the years including the Oracle Cloud ERP, SIS and the Sales Force implementation for DBS. Isaac holds a Masters in International Accounting and Finance and is an ACCA Finalist.
Malgorzata Urbaniak
Project Leader – Finance Transformation Programme
Malgorzata joined UCD in September 2023. Prior to that, she worked for leading global consulting and technology companies, delivering digital finance projects. Her experience spans digital transformation, operating model design, shared services design & transition and system implementations. Her functional skills include, CFO advisory, finance & accounting processes design and optimisation, with strong disposition towards Order to Cash and Procure to Pay processes & enabling technologies.
Valeria Baratella
Project Leader – Finance Transformation Programme
Val has over 20 years of experience delivering business optimisation, transformation and change management initiatives within fast-paced and dynamic global organisations.
Before UCD, Val worked in various senior roles in business optimisation/transformation, technology enhancement, strategic planning, and commercial finance. She joined UCD in August 2023
Liam Alfred
Finance Transformation Business Analyst
Liam relocated from New York to join UCD in September 2023. He graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2019, with a B.S. in Accounting. His previous role with NYU Langone Health worked to oversee fund accounting and analysis for various University and Hospital departments. Liam also contributes to the not-for-profit sector as the Treasurer of the MAWO USA Board of Directors. Liam joins FinPOST excited to work on the transformation of the Project and Asset Management group.
Shivaa Sharma
Project Leader - Finance Transformation Programme
Shivaa joined UCD in October 2023. Prior to that, she worked for leading global consulting and FTSE 100 retail companies across the UK and Ireland, delivering finance transformation projects. Her experience spans finance change and system implementations including SAP BPC, Oracle etc. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and is leading the data workstream on FinPOST.
Louise Bloomfield
HRIS Business Analyst
Louise joined UCD in 2006 and has over 15 years of experience leading and managing HR information systems (HRIS) projects. She has in-depth knowledge of UCD HR systems and processes and is the HR workstream lead for the programme.
