Gut Health Study
This study is aiming to see if a new food supplement can benefit digestive health in adults who experience mild-moderate digestive issues/discomfort.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for healthy adults aged 20-45 years old who report mild to moderate digestive issues/discomfort.
What’s involved?
If you decide to take part, in brief, you will be asked to fill out a series of web-based questionnaires, and different measures will be taken at certain time points throughout the study which lasts for a total of 16 weeks, and you will give a number of stool samples (done at your home using a home fecal collection kit that is provided for you). There will be a total of 5 study visits.
Who is leading this research?
This research is led by Dr. Emma Feeney within UCD’s Institute of Food and Health, and Dr. Alice Lucey within UCC’s School of Food and Nutritional Sciences. The study will also be carried out by the Food for Health Ireland researchers, Éimear Gregory and Conor Cleary. The study is funded by Enterprise Ireland’s Technology Centre and Food for Health Ireland.
