UCD Alumni Fund
The UCD Alumni Fund was set up in 2007 to support students at UCD and to enhance the quality of their student experience.
In the changing climate of higher education funding, finding new sources of income is vital to the University. The UCD Alumni Fund raises much-needed unrestricted funds to provide ongoing support for student focused initiatives.
The priorities for the year ahead are:
- The provision of scholarships
- New reference and loan materials for the library
- Funding for conservation, digitisation and exhibition of the Special Collections within the Library
- Projects of urgent student need
Each year, we appeal to UCD graduates to support the Alumni Fund and enable us to achieve our goals. We raise money through a variety of campaigns, including mailings, email and our very successful telethons.
Funds are allocated by the UCD Foundation each year following recommendations by the Alumni Fund Grant Committee. You can see examples of all the projects we have supported over the last few years here.
