UCD Sutherland School of Law Campaign
Construction of the UCD Sutherland School of Law is set to commence in November 2010, completing in December 2011 in time to mark the centenary of UCD School of Law. The UCD Sutherland School of Law will be a bold new signature building, finally putting down roots for law at the heart of the UCD campus. Stunning new facilities will ensure that UCD will set the pace for world-class legal education, research and professional development.
The new school has been greatly supported by Peter Sutherland, after whom the building will be named. At 5,100 sq.m, its design will bring together undergraduate and graduate law studies, the institute of criminology, legal research centres and continuing professional development programmes. At the centre of this new building will be a Clinical Legal Education Centre, comprising a suite of rooms with a moot court. Download our Sutherland School of Law Brochure for more information.
To date €26 million has been raised, leaving a balance of €1 million. It is hoped that UCD graduates will support the new School of Law and help bring this project to fruition. All donors will be acknowledged on a donor wall within the new building.
