Ladies Football
Ladies Gaelic Football is a relatively new phenomenon as Cumann Peile Gael na mBan was only founded in 1974. Since then the sport has continued to expand both from a participation perspective and from a spectator point of view and today is one of the fastest growing sports in Ireland.
About the Ladies Football Club
The UCD club was founded in 1992 and is now an integral part of UCD’s sporting and social life. The UCD Senior ladies team competes in the O’Connor Cup intervarsity competition as well as in the Higher Education leagues. UCD were victorious as recently as 2015 in the O'Connor Cup. As recently as 2015. UCD Ladies Football Club also have an intermediate and junior football team
