Incoming Erasmus Traineeships
Erasmus Traineeships provide funding for students undertaking work experience or internships in Europe. UCD Global does not arrange Erasmus traineeships. In order to be accepted in UCD as an Erasmus traineeship student, you should contact a member of academic staff in one of our Schools who would agree to take you on and supervise you. Once you have been accepted by a UCD staff member, email erasmus.traineeships@ucd.ie for details of the application and registration process.
Outgoing Erasmus Traineeships
Erasmus Traineeships provide funding for students undertaking work experience or internships in Europe. The traineeships must be approved by the student’s School and be of at least two months’ duration. The School, the employer and the student must all sign a Training Agreement before the traineeship starts. Funding amounts depend on the destination country and the length of the placement. Students who have received a grant for an Erasmus study exchange may receive a second grant for an Erasmus traineeship, up to a maximum of 12 months of funding. As there is limited funding each year, students should contact UCD Global in advance to check if they are eligible for a grant and if there is sufficient funding available. Please email erasmus.traineeships@ucd.ie for more information.
