Una Europa Student Project Incubator autumn 2025

Collaborate with students across Europe in interdisciplinary teams, in a virtual 8-week programme, focusing on 'Una Europa in the Community'. 

Work in a team to explore connections between universities and local communities, develop your understanding of societal impact, and devise a local solution to a local issue.

Una Europa Student Congress

Are you passionate about making a difference in your student community? Ready to explore new perspectives on student engagement and how it takes shape across Una Europa?

The annual Student Congress takes place in November at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. This year's theme is: 'Global Minds, Local Impact: Uniting Cultures Through Student Initiatives'. 

Join us in Paris to delve into the meaning and impact of student engagement. Share your experiences, connect with peers from across the alliance, and take part in interactive workshops and roundtables. Learn how student initiatives can strengthen our shared community and inspire meaningful change throughout society.

This event is part of UCD’s programme of events celebrating Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Week 2025.

As 2030 approaches, what lies ahead for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)?

This panel discussion—hosted by Una Europa and moderated by UCD's Vice President for Sustainability, Prof. Tasman Crowe—brings together thought leaders from academia and policy to reflect on SDG progress and to envision bold, inclusive pathways beyond the 2030 agenda.

European Day of Languages

Join us online on a journey to discover the linguistic diversity of Una Europa through online introductory language courses!

Our online language taster classes are aimed at complete beginners and will introduce the basics of a language with qualified teachers from across the alliance. All sessions are free, online and open to any staff or student from UCD and Una Europa partner universities.

Come and learn the basics of Irish, Ukrainian, French, Afrikaans, Finnish and more!

Policy internship @ Una Europa Brussels office

The Una Europa central office in Brussels is hiring a Policy Intern to join the team from January-June 2026.

Una Europa's Policy Internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on professional policy experience in a vibrant international higher education environment, combining collaboration across institutions in 11 countries with a base at the alliance headquarters in Brussels.

The successful candidate will be employed and paid under a Belgian Professional Internship Agreement contract, from January 2026 to June 2026.

Scholar-Practitioner Dialogues ¦ Europe and the World

Are you a researcher active in European Studies, International Relations or a related field? Interested in better understanding Europe’s place in the world? Then join Una Europa’s next series of peer-to-peer learning sessions for inspiring insights and exchanges with counterparts!

Four online seminars take place through October and November, with expert guest speakers on topics ranging from defence to AI to foreign policy. Register in advance to guarantee your place.

Open to students of all levels and disciplines with an interest in sustainability

UnaVex is a five-week-long virtual exchange consisting of five sessions (3 hours per day for 5 days). During the exchange, you will attend inspiring plenary talks on different aspects of sustainability. In small groups of peers, you will discuss and develop a collaborative, sustainability-themed action task.

UnaVEx is a platform for multidisciplinary and intercultural encounters for university students interested in sustainability and the future of our shared planet. UnaVEx welcomes students from European and African nations, building a bridge between the continents for sustainable futures.
