Around 20 delegates from UCD attended the recent Una Europa General Assembly in person, with many more participating online.
Hosted by Universität Zürich from 19 to 21 June, the General Assembly brought together partners from across the Una Europa alliance for interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary collaboration. Una Europa is an alliance of 11 research-intensive universities, including UCD, who share the common goal of developing a truly European University of the Future.
Some 300 delegates from across the alliance met in Zurich to explore the theme of ‘One Earth, One Future’, with a particular focus on the area of One Health, where interdisciplinary research is seeking innovative solutions for zoonotic diseases, antibiotic resistance, and other health-related environmental impacts.
