UCD is hosting a stand at the Ireland Pavilion at this year’s(opens in a new window) EAIE Community Exchange from 28 September to 1 October 2021. This is a four-day virtual conference and exhibition and offers a way to connect and exchange knowledge. The UCD team will attend sessions on relevant topics and look forward to connecting with our trusted partners there.
Engaging with our global partners and networks is essential for UCD to continue as a leader in the sector. With the necessary travel restrictions in place over the past year, the ability to meet university partners face-to-face was severely curtailed, and we continued to foster these important relationships through virtual and online channels and events.
UCD contribution to the EAIE annual conference throughout the years has helped us to develop and maintain our global network of partners in the past. This is especially exciting for UCD as former President of Ireland, Mary Robinson, is delivering the opening plenary at this year’s community exchange.
As Ireland’s Global University, UCD has a significant global footprint, with an international student community of 8,500 students from 130 countries. There are over 5,000 international students at UCD’s overseas campuses.
