From Erasmus to Erasmus+

2017 marks thirty years since the European Commission launched the Erasmus programme. Over 3 million students and staff have availed of an Erasmus exchange. As UCD has participated since 1987, a reception was held on 16 November to celebrate. A new video celebrating UCD’s involvement in Erasmus+ was shown and speeches were given by Catherine Convery and Dr Selena Daly. UCD continues to widen its involvement in the Erasmus+ programme with over 550 students and staff participating in the various programmes both within Europe and worldwide.
