UCD's Global Footprint

With five Global Centres located around the world, dual degree programmes, and a wide network of alumni and diaspora, UCD is proud to be Ireland’s Global University.

Alumni / Diaspora

UCD is Ireland’s largest research university and its most global in outlook and activity. Our Global Engagement Strategy supports a broad-based approach to our connections with the world, and accordingly we have overseas Global Centres serving North America, China, India, Asia Pacific and the Middle East & Africa.

UCD Overseas Alumni Chapters help our alumni reconnect with UCD and their fellow graduates no matter where they are in the world. We have over 289,000 alumni in 169 countries, many of whom have made their mark in all areas of industry, arts, engineering, science, culture, sport and public life. It is through the support of our alumni that we will be able to achieve the standing on the world stage that UCD really deserves, UCD President, Professor Andrew J Deeks.
