The UCD PLAN'EAT Living Lab is a research initiative based in the UCD Institute of Food and Health that is focused on supporting UCD students transition towards more sustainable and healthy diets. With students playing a central role in the Living Lab, researchers are aiming to explore the challenges you face in adopting more sustainable and healthy diets, and to work with you towards finding solutions to overcoming these barriers. By joining the PLAN'EAT Living Lab community, you will have the opportunity to take part in research, receive personalised dietary feedback, attend exclusive events, and more. If you are interested in learning more about the study and the benefits of being part of the Living Lab community, you can sign up or get in contact with the research team here.
If you sign up to the UCD PLAN'EAT Living Lab, you will also be able to sign up to the first UCD PLAN'EAT Living Lab study to see if you are eligible. The first study is a Personalised Nutrition Study designed to help support students eat a more healthy and sustainable diet over a 4-week period (please see poster below). Upon taking part, you’ll receive support from one of the nutritionists from our team, who will take you through your own personalised dietary report. During this time, the nutritionist will explain your dietary goals for the following 4 weeks and provide you with support and resources to help you achieve your goals. If you struggle to eat healthily and sustainably, particularly during the busy college period, this is a great opportunity to receive guidance and support at zero cost.
