Next Level CPD - Train the Trainers Programme – UCD Graduate Studies & Orpheus - Quality in Doctoral Education

Dr Janet Carton, UCD Graduate Studies, led the first European Train the Trainers programme for ten universities in her capacity as VP of Orpheus - Quality in Doctoral Education. European universities who are keen to grow sustainable professional development practices for research supervisors look to UCD as leaders in this field.  Underpinning the RSSDf (Research Supervisor Support & Development framework, introduced in 2020) UCD’s development programme for research supervisors (RSSDp) is now part of UCD’s Faculty Development Framework, a key step in recognising the complexity of today’s research supervisory role.
