UCD Beacon Academy Wins Partnership Award

The second (opens in a new window)Sandyford Business District Awards took place at a black-tie gala ceremony held at The Pavilion, Leopardstown Racecourse last week, where the best of business across the District was celebrated.
There were a record number of entries, all of which demonstrated first class business acumen and entrepreneurship, making the judges’ task inordinately difficult.
University College Dublin and the (opens in a new window)Beacon Hospital received the Partnership Award for their work on the UCD Beacon Academy. This award was sponsored and presented by (opens in a new window)Sage Ireland.
The (opens in a new window)UCD Beacon Hospital Academy was launched in February 2015 and boasts the most comprehensive private training programmes in Ireland underpinned by excellence in scholarship, innovation in all aspects of healthcare provision and transformative management and leadership. The UCD Beacon Hospital Academy also draw on the expertise of the wider UCD network and facilitate Beacon Hospital staff to undertake executive management and leadership courses.
