Course Description
The MDS-European Section School for Young Neurologists is an opportunity for young neurologists who are interested in specializing in Movement Disorders to receive in-depth instruction from internationally recognized Movement Disorders experts.
This course is intended for young neurologists within five years of their completion of general neurological training who are interested in specializing in movement disorders, and young neurologists who are already training in movement disorders. The audience will be members of the MDS-European Section with a particular focus on supporting young neurologists from Eastern Europe.
A working knowledge of English is required as well as working knowledge of the diagnosis and general management of various movement disorders.
Topics will focus on parkinsonism, hyperkinetic disorders and complex issues in movement disorders. Students will participate in lectures with videos covering fundamental topic talks, virtual patient examinations, and bring your own case presentations from students. Interactive components will be heavily featured including live discussion, polling and social breaks.

Target Audience
Young neurologists within five years of completion of general neurological training who are interested in specializing in Movement Disorders and young neurologists already enrolled in, or recently completed, Movement Disorders training.

The Zoom meeting link will be the same for both days. At the beginning of the course, a waiting room will be set up to allow all participants and faculty to enter at one time. Participants will be muted upon entry. We request all participants and faculty to keep their cameras off during the streaming sessions. Faculty will turn their videos on for participation in the panel discussions and live Q&A. Participants will be asked to “raise their Hand” using the “Raise Hand” icon in zoom to ask a question. The Course directors will call on the student to unmute and ask the question live.
