DNI Run as One Fundraiser
Covid-19 has had an impact on everyone and
(opens in a new window)The Dublin Neurological Institute (DNI) is no different. The DNI relies solely on donations and charitable grants and their patients need support. Although based in Dublin the DNI supports patients from all over Ireland.
The increasing age of our population means increasing numbers of people with neurological disease. In fact 1 in 2 women and 1 in 3 men develop dementia, stroke or Parkinsonism during their life.* 700,000 people in Ireland are currently suffering from neurological disease and there is simply not enough services to support them.
The cost of running the DNI for a year is a minimum of €100,000 but the more funds received the more patients that can be treated. The DNI is asking you to 'Run As One' on the 27th and 28th of February to raise much needed funds to treat those with neurological conditions in Ireland.
