The review covers the research, clinical and staff contributions to the hospital group over the last 6 six months. The report also clearly demonstrates the incredible work that has taken place at hospital group and university level over the course of what has been an extremely challenging year for our health service and staff.
The End of Year Review details some of the many collaborative grants ongoing between UCD and IEHG hospitals, along with key research projects taking place across the UCD/Mater/Vincent's campuses. It also highlights the many successes throughout the year, such as the funding secured for simulation training by the Chief Academic Officers Group and the matched funding by the hospital group to increase simulation opportunities for staff.
IEHG and UCD, through the office of Health Affairs hope to continue this work into 2021 with a renewed focus on our Clinical and Service Academic Directorates. This will ensure that teaching, research and innovation are at the centre of our Academic Health Science System.
