Supports and resources available at UCD

Did you know that breastfeeding facilities and supports for people who are breastfeeding are available on campus in UCD? UCD has recently introduced a new Policy for Supporting Employees who are Breastfeeding. It is planned to increase the number of breastfeeding facilities as a result of this new policy. Facilities are open to both staff and students on campus.

Evaluation of lactation facilities

An evaluation of existing lactation facilities was carried out by a team from the UCD School of Nursing, Midwifery and Healthy System the report was made available in February 2024.
