Dr Declan Downey to Deliver Lecture on behalf of the Royal Academy of History at the Fundación Ramón Areces in Madrid
On Wednesday 27th November 2019 at 7.30pm, Dr. Declan M. Downey of UCD School of History and Corresponding Member of the Spanish Royal Academy of History will deliver the fourth and final presentation in a series of public lectures on behalf of the Royal Academy of History at the Fundación Ramón Areces in Madrid. His presentation, Testimonio de la Gran Armada contra Inglaterra de 1588 en la costa irlandesa. Actualidad y perspectivas para una necesaria revisión, will be chaired by H.E. D. Hugo O’Donnell y Duque de Estrada, Duke of Tetuán, chancellor of the Royal Academy and vice-president of the Spanish Commission of Military History. The series is organized by the Spanish Royal Academy of History and sponsored by the Fundación Ramón Areces.
