Visual arts installation, The Trial, has gone on display at Kilaminham Goal Museum.
Directed and produced by Sinead McCann, The Trial is a multi-screen visual art installation on healthcare and human rights in the Irish criminal justice system. The Trial is a collaborative artwork made with men from the (opens in a new window)Bridge Project, Dublin, who have lived prison experiences, and draws from historical research by UCD historians, Catherine Cox and Fiachra Byrne. It is funded by The Arts Council, The Wellcome Trust and Dublin City Council.
The Trial has recieved positive reviews from the (opens in a new window)Irish Times.
The Trial will be exhibited from 13-26 April in the Old Courthouse, Kilaminham Goal Museum, Dublin 8. Tickets are free but must be booked through (opens in a new window)Eventbrite.
