Dr Clarie McGuinness judged & presented at CONUL T&L
Dr Claire McGuinness (with Maria Rogers of Barnardos) judged and presented the annual CONUL Teaching & Learning Award.
The award was presented at the (opens in a new window)2016 CONUL Annual Teaching & Learning Seminar which took place on the 10th November 2016, Science Gallery, Trinity College Dublin.
Dr McGuinness judged and presented the annual CONUL Teaching & Learning Award, which is offered for “for outstanding excellence and innovation in the field of information literacy and teaching in Ireland.” The award was won this year by Barry Houlihan, an archivist from NUI Galway, whose winning submission was entitled “'Breaking the S.E.A.L: Schools Engagement with Archives Learning” and was an initiative aimed at introducing Leaving Certificate History students from a local secondary school to archival material from the Hardiman Library.
