An Seimineár Lae (Day Seminar)

Each year we welcome secondary school students to the School of Irish, Celtic Studies & Folklore UCD to experience a day of lectures at Third Level. Students who visit attend lectures which explore in depth a number of the works of literature, poetry and film on the Leaving Certificate Irish course. All lectures are delivered throught the medium of Irish.

There is a limit to the number of students we can enrol on the day course and so the earliest applications will be given priority. To help us to cover our costs for the day, the fee has been set at €10.00 per person.

No group of students will be permitted to attend the Seimineár Lae without at least one teacher being present at all times.
