International Students
We welcome International students into a number of different programmes here at the School of Irish, Celtic Studies and Folklore. The wide range of research in the disciplines of Irish Studies, Celtic Civilisation, Irish Folkore and Modern Irish caters for a diverse cohort of students.
Depending on your location and eligibility, you can apply as a full time undergraduate student on our Degree programmes or as a visiting student for one or more semesters. The current cohort of International students includes countries such as the U.S., China, Europe, Japan, Canada.

International scholarships offered for postgraduate study
The UCD School of Irish, Celtic Studies and Irish Folklore is offering a number of new scholarships for the 2018/19 academic year. Scholarships are available to successful applicants for the following postgraduate courses:
- PhD in any subject area in the School
- MA Irish Studies
- MA Irish Folklore & Ethnology
- MA sa Nua-Ghaeilge
- MA Scríobh agus Cumarsáid
