At NovaUCD, we offer a state-of-the-art incubation facility for high-tech start-ups with global ambition. We provide a comprehensive business support programme for clients as well as facilitated access to the NovaUCD network of researchers, business leaders and investors. Through the AgTechUCD Innovation Centre, based at NovaUCD and UCD Lyons Farm, we offer specific support for AgTech start-ups.

At NovaUCD, the Knowledge Transfer team supports UCD’s research community to identify valuable research results and implement protection strategies, to explore commercialisation opportunities through licensing and spin-out company formation and to develop productive collaborations with industry.

We have over 60 high-tech and innovation-led companies located at NovaUCD and at NexusUCD at any one time. Many of our client companies are currently raising early-stage seed capital as well as Series A funding.

We offer facilitated access to collaborate and benefit from UCD’s research expertise, high-quality offices and services at NexusUCD for companies wishing to locate in close proximity to UCD’s research base, access to new technology licensing opportunities and access to UCD undergraduate and postgraduate students via a range of internship opportunities.

Through ConsultUCD we connect business, industry, government and non-profit organisations with UCD academics of all disciplines.

At NovaUCD, there are a range of modules, courses, seminars and programmes available to students in UCD in the areas of entrepreneurship, innovation, creativity and technology commercialisation.  We also offer a range of internship opportunities across a variety of sectors throughout the year.
