NovaUCD, the Centre for New Ventures and Entrepreneurs, has today launched its latest publication entitled ‘NovaUCD Making an Impact Since 2003’.
The publication provides an overview of; the facilities, services and programmes offered by NovaUCD to support and scale start-up companies; the range of tailored internships and programmes offered to UCD researchers and students in the areas of entrepreneurship, innovation, creativity and technology commercialisation; relationship building to increase the levels of collaboration with Irish and international industry and the supports provided to UCD researchers to commercially exploit research outputs for the benefit of the university and the wider community.
In addition it also provides an overview of the economic impact of NovaUCD since it opened in 2003. She added, “NovaUCD is focused on the commercialisation of research outputs, creating new ventures, supporting and scaling start-ups and established companies, and creating jobs and NovaUCD’s achievements to date are shown, in part, by the strong results from the 15 year survey featured in this publication.”
