Gaeltacht UCD
Gaeltacht UCD shares the Irish language and its associated culture globally, bringing the best of Ireland to UCD and the best of UCD to the world. The centre offers Irish language courses, cultural activities, translation services, exchange programmes, an international summer school and an award-winning Irish language residential scholarship scheme. Gaeltacht UCD is also represented on the University’s Irish language board,Bord Tacaíochta Gaeilge UCD. UCD Global Engagement
The UCD Office of Global Engagement comprises of Gaeltacht UCD, UCD Global, UCD Applied Language Centre, UCD Irish Institute for Chinese Studies and (opens in a new window)UCD Confucius Institute. Led by Vice-President for Global Engagment, Prof. Dolores O'Riordan, the UCD Office of Global Engagement supports UCD to aim to bring the best of the world to Ireland and the best of Ireland, including its distinct cultures, to the world.
