Rónta agus Bradáin

Nuair a bhímis ag iascaireacht bradán is minic a thagadh an rón agus bhéarfadh sé greim ar mhuineál bradáin agus ansan d’fhágfadh sé ansan é agus raghadh sé go dtí ceann eile a bheadh sa líon agus do thabharfadh sé leis é go dtí na ceannaibh óga – is dócha a bhíodh ó dheas ins na failltreacha aige.

Seals and Salmon

When we would be fishing for salmon a seal would often come and bite the neck of the salmon and he’d eat it there and then and he’d go to another one in the net and he’d take it with him to the young ones – he probably had them down south in the cliffs.
