Update to Labour Force Survey

ISSDA is pleased to announce that we have received the latest update of the Labour Force Survey from the Central Statistics Office (CSO) which includes data for 2023 and 2024.

This update adds the data for Q4 2023, thereby completing the data for that year. The 2024 data included is for Q1 - Q3. Please be aware that there was a change in format for the Labour Force Survey. It is now being issued in CSV and SAS format. It will no longer be issued in STATA.

The Labour Force Survey (LFS) is a large-scale, nationwide survey of households in Ireland conducted by the Central Statistics Office. It is designed to produce quarterly labour force estimates that include the official measure of employment and unemployment in the state.
