Brí Development as a response to the climate crisis Year overview

In September of 2023 we were introduced to the overarching topic ‘ A tailwind for Ireland ’ by our module co-ordinator Joerg Rekittke . Which served as an exploration into the future renewable landscape of Ireland. Throughout the year we became keen researchers into the processes and problems associated with renewable energies. Each of us then branching off into our own unique areas of Interest. A key interest of mine is, and will always be the role of landscape in housing. As such I pursued the line of questioning ‘ Can renewable energies and housing be paired together in a symbiotic relationship?’ This portfolio is an overview of the research and design work carried out this year on this topic.
