Dignity at work
Dignity at work
The UCD School of Mathematics and Statistics is committed to maintaining a work environment that protects the dignity of all staff and that remains free of harassment, bullying and sexual misconduct.
The School actively promotes a culture where bullying, harassment and sexual misconduct is not tolerated and where all staff feel respected, valued and included within the School.
University College Dublin lists six core values driving the University culture: excellence; integrity; collegiality; engagement; diversity and creativity. In line with these values, the School of Mathematics and Statistics is committed to the provision of an environment of respect for diversity and equality of opportunity where:
- All staff and students have the right to be treated with dignity and respect, and can work and study in a rewarding, safe and stress free environment
- Bullying and harassment will not be tolerated and will lead to disciplinary action
- All members of our School can fully utilise their skills and talents and achieve their full potential
School policies for dealing with instances of bullying, harassment and sexual misconduct are in line with the broader UCD policies, outlined on the UCD Dignity & Respect website.
