Designated Public Official

Professor Denis Cusack is the Director of the Medical Bureau of Road Safety (MBRS) and is the prescribed Designated Public Official for the Body under the Regulation of Lobbying Act 2015 and Regulations 2024.

The Director, under section 39(2) of the Road Traffic Acts 1968-2010 (as amended) and the Establishment Order 1968 (as amended), manages the day-to-day business of the MBRS and exercises general supervision in relation to the performance by it of the functions assigned to it by or under the Road Traffic Acts 1968-2010 (as amended).
