At UCD we recognise the challenges faced by industry partners in the Health & Life Sciences sector. Clinical translation requires expertise in trial design, regulatory affairs and study conduct among others; expertise we have at UCD. We will bridge the translational gap, through the UCD CTU, a dedicated unit designed to partner with Irish SMEs, High Potential Startups (HPSUs) and multinational (MNCs) companies to accelerate translation of their devices, therapeutics, and technologies (including clinical decision support tools, new models, algorithms, digital biomarkers, from prototype to clinically validated tools).
