The National Emergency Medicine Simulation Competition 2024 (SimWars 2024) was held in UCD School of Medicine in the Health Sciences building on Saturday, 2nd March. This is a national competition, with over 100 students competing against each other in simulated emergency medical and surgical scenarios, and 50 faculty acting as judges. The students and judges are drawn from UCD, UCC, UL, NUIG, TCD & RCSI! Thank you to all seven universities and 21 teams for attending SimWars 2024 at UCD.
Congratulations to the UCD teams "Lord have MRSA" and "Refer to Hospital Guidelines" for competing this year, and a huge congratulations to the UCD team "TXAngels" for placing 2nd in the finals! We couldn’t be more proud. Thanks to all the SimWars volunteers and faculty for helping out on the day.
