Comprising more than 2,000 full-time enrollments and representing 30 different nationalities, our large and culturally diverse student community is the heartbeat of the School.
Our students are active college citizens, participating in the many social and community events which are on offer at Ireland's largest University. The more established students act as peer mentors for those in earlier years. Many are orientation guides for first year student in the first semester or tour guides for 5th and 6th Year second level students contemplating study at UCD.
Our students support each other through the demanding academic programme and forge bonds with each other and with the School that remain throughout their careers. Each student has his or her own particular reason for choosing their programme of study, and thanks to the innovative UCD Horizons initiative each can customise their degree to suit their personal and career goals.
