Cathal has an undergraduate and masters degree in Biomedical Engineering from University College Dublin. He is currently pursuing a PhD degree funded by the Center for Research Training’s data science initiative.
Cathal’s research focuses on the application of network science to computational models of the basal ganglia with the overall aim of improving stimulation therapies for Parkinson’s disease.
