UCD Newman Graduate Scholarships

Every year, UCD School of Philosophy offers Newman Graduate Scholarships for students wishing to enrol on the MA in Philosophy (General Programme) and to write their minor dissertation on an aspect of the work or legacy of John Henry Newman. The scholarships provide a significant contribution to the cost of tuition fees (minimum 50% and up to a possible 100%). Scholarships are open to Irish, EU and international applicants. The scholarships are kindly endowed by the Newman Foundation. 

How to Apply

Please apply online to the MA in Philosophy (General Programme). In addition to formally applying for admission to the programme, applicants are requested to email a brief description of their interest in Newman's work and the MA project they wish to undertake to the Graduate Administrator, Gillian Johnston, at gillian.johnston@ucd.ie.
