Voting underway in Graduate Panel Election to UCD Governing Authority
All graduates of University College Dublin, including those who are graduates of the National University of Ireland by reason of their studies at the former UCD, are eligible to vote in this election.
Ballot papers have been posted to all those eligible to vote and votes may be returned either by post or by voting in person on Saturday 29 November 2008 in the Main Restaurant building, Belfield between 10:00am and 12:00 noon.
At the close of nominations, four candidates were validly nominated to contest three seats in the graduate panel election to the Fourth Governing Authority of University College Dublin, which will hold office for five years from 01 February 2009:
- Clíona de Bhaldraithe-Marsh, BA MA
- Mary Theresa O’Keeffe, BA MA
- Séamus Prionsias Micheal Mac Suibhne, MB BCh BAO
- William Joseph O’Reilly, BA MA
The restriction that a person elected by the graduates may not be an employee or a student of the University has been waived for this election.
