Death, Burial and the Afterlife seminar series
The seminar series 'Death, Burial and the Afterlife' (organized by the research strand of the same name) focuses on the the role death has played in past and present societies, present results of recent research and show the many ways in which it has been approached by different disciplines. The seminars are presented on the last Wednesday of the month during term time, stretching from January 2009 until April 2010. Today's speaker will be Professor Gabriel Cooney (UCD School of Archaeology).
