Fourteen UCD staff elected to fifth Governing Authority
Counting of votes in UCD staff panel elections to the fifth Governing Authority took place on Wednesday, 13 November 2013 under the direction of the Returning Officer, Professor Michael P. Ryan.
Three outgoing members of the professorial staff panel were re-elected: Professors Joe Carthy, Patrick Guiry and Dermot Moran. They will be joined on the new Authority by Professors Alan Baird, Orla Feely and Imelda Maher, who were elected for the first time.
Three outgoing members of the non-professorial academic staff panel were also re-elected: Dr Joe Brady, Dr Marie Clarke and Mr John Dunnion. They will be joined by Dr Russell Higgs and Dr Wolfgang Marx, who were elected for the first time.
One outgoing member of the non-academic staff panel, Hugo O'Donnell, was re-elected. He will be joined by Margaret Brindley and Paul Harkin, who were elected for the first time.
