UCD Carnival Day 2005

 

This year's UCD Carnival Day took place on Saturday 2 July 2005 at the UCD Sports Centre and surrounding areas. UCD President, Dr. Hugh Brady along with hundreds of UCD staff, family and their friends enjoyed a fun - filled afternoon at UCD. Once again the weather was kind to us with a mild sunny afternoon enjoyed by all. As always, there were plenty of fun events and entertainment for all the family including: Bouncy castles, Face Painting,   Merry-go-round and the always popular Punch and Judy show. The races are a special favourite of Carnival Day for the kiddies and parents alike. There was an especially good turnout at the starting line when it was time for the Mothers and Fathers to take their turn. This year's Carnival Day Committee members were: Prof. Mary Clayton, Dr. P�draic Conway, Mr. Michael Rafter, Ms. Siobhan Kelly,  Ms. Rosaleen Loughman and Mr. Peter McKiernan.
